Welcome to the web page of Ben Buxton.

This is my main page, it's not very interesting now, but someday I'll have my very own home page too. For now, it is just a "jump point" to some pages that I created for my Molecular Biology class. One of them is my Green Fluorescent Protein page. Another one has sequence information on Phosphofructokinase (Genbank search). I have performed a MacDNAsis analysis on these PFK seqences.

I also have done a review of a paper on the role of the Xist gene in X chromosome inactivation.

You may also want to take a look at these excellent pages related to GFP:

www.image1.com/products/metagfp/green.html

info.bio.cmu.edu/courses/abc/GFPTest/GFP.html

util.ucsf.edu/sedat/marsh/gfp_gateway.html

Just so you know, I have no trouble finding Rasmol images... such as this one of Taq DNA polymerase, from the NCBI MMDB server.
