The taxonomy lab group is made up of five Davidson College students spanning the range of sophomore to senior. This project was undertaken as a part of Botany class taught by Dr. Hay, associate professor of Biology at Davidson College. The project took about 2 months to complete. Approximately 1 mile of the Davidson cross country trail was identified. The group found numerous types of trees, wildflowers, shrubs, lianas and other forms of plants.
