Virtual Tour of the Davidson College Biology Department

The Biology Department is in the Baker -Watt Science Complex. Completed in the fall of 1999 , the complex includes the Dana Laboratory and Watson Life Science Buildings. Departmental facilities include 9 teaching labs (with over 80 computers), 12 faculty research labs, a 'smart classroom' lecture hall, 4 equipment/ preparation rooms, core care facility, tissue culture and immunofluorescence microscopy facilities, the departmental office, the Kaul Audio-visual library,  and the 'Biocenter'. Campus facilities also include the greenhouse, the Lake Campus and other areas used for field studies.
