Fun Facts
-Cane toads make a resounding "pop," quite like that of a balloon, when run over with an automobile (Lewis, 1987).

-A cane toad will attempt to copulate with just about anything when the mood strikes it.  Cane toads have been reported to attempt to mate with cats, rabbits, garden decorations, dead members of their own species, other cane toads of the same sex, and human feet (Lewis, 1987).

-Many Australians now feel as if the cane toad has become a real part of the family of Australian wildlife.  Some people like to feed the toads or take them in as pets.  One man even sits out in his garden at night and lets the toads hop and copulate on his bare feet (Lewis, 1987).

-Many australian children amuse themselves for hours with the sticky goo in which cane toad eggs are laid.  I've heard it's quite like play dough.  Right.

-It is said that if you smoke the venom you will be able to see and merge with God (Jordan, 1997).  Sounds like a marketing gimmick to me.
