My name is Paul T. Toran and I am a junior at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina where I am majoring in Biology. Most of my friends call me Paul T. but feel free to call me Batman. I am a huge Pirates fan and as soon as they can get a clue and figure out that they are playing baseball and " not stare at the weird ball with red thingies on it " game; they are going to start punishing teams, especially the Braves, and bring home the pennant. I am currently living outside of Boston, home of another baseball team that hasn't figured out what exactly why there are people yelling at them while they are standing on some green stuff in the middle of a big stadium somewhere...Red Sox GET BETTER!!!! Before Boston, I lived in California, Maryland, Connecticut, and New Jersey. I used to swim for the college but then I broke my back twice so the doctors told me to stop doing that, so I had to hang up the goggles for good. However, Dr. Barron, my orthopedic guy, didn't say anything about water polo or surfing so those are the other two things that have filled the gap leftover from swimming. I started surfing when I was a freshman in high school and have kept it up ever since. As for the water polo thing, I have been playing just as long as I have been surfing and I guess the whole deal with water polo is that in polo you can beat the snot out of your defender and that is A OK. Great sport, we need more like it; battle dome is close but not quite as good. This site is a work in progress so keep checking up on it, but until then look at some of these links they are pretty cool. Also I provide a free surf report for some of my favorite breaks. |
