Charles Darwin’s Life: Voyage to the Galapagos and Beyond
Biology Department seminar including a view of Darwin's life (by Karen Hales) followed by a slideshow of faculty and staff travels to the Galapagos Islands, featuring Mark Stanback, Paul Brantley, Mike Dorcas, and Pat Peroni.

Friday October 31st, 2008 (note new date!) 2:00 PM
A Darwin Year Walk in the Woods with Davidson Biologists Chris Paradise, Pat Peroni, Steve Price, and Mark Stanback.
Meet at the greenhouse, outside the back corner of the soccer stadium near the cross-country trails.
Special Feature: Dr. Stanback will release two rehabilitated barred owls (from the Carolina Raptor Center) during this walk!
