Educational Goals:

• Understand the mechanisms responsible for inheritance patterns.
• Utilize the predictive powers stemming from Mendelian genetics.
• Learn about DNA mutations and their consequences.

Learning Outcomes - Students will:

• predict the probability of offspring from controlled matings
• utilize the modern terms that explain Mendelian concepts
• interpret DNA sequencing data
