Second Guessing History Using Global Imaging Systems:
-The Battle of Gettysburg-

The Battle of Gettysburg is considered by many to be the turning point of the Civil War, and essentially the fate of our nation. During the summer of 1863, a Confederate Army of approximately 75,000 men collided with the Union Army of nearly 100,000 soldiers. After three days of fighting, the two armies left the small town of only 2,400 citizens, with casualties numbering approximately 50,000 for both sides. The Confederates had been successfully repelled, marking what has since become known as the high water mark of the Confederacy. Today with the help of Global Imaging Systems, many of the tactical decisions of the battle can be second-guessed, as I have attempted to do.
