There are no foreseeable problems with these extensions. The first connection, in red, between Woodland and Eastway gives commuter traffic, especially residents of these two streets more options. I added a second extension, in yellow, between the new Woodland-Eastway connection and South St., which can also provide motorists with more commuter options.
