This April, the Davidson College Herpetology Lab will host its 12th annual Reptile Day. Lab members will be on hand to talk about the many local amphibians and reptiles on display for visitors to admire or touch. Dr. Michael Dorcas will give a talk about his recent research on Burmese pythons. Several local and state conservations organizations will be present, including the Davidson Lands Conservancy, the NC Wildlife Federation, and many more. Last year, the event drew more 800 visitors of all ages. We hope to see you at Reptile Day this year! Please contact Nitya Rao, the Herpetology Lab Outreach Coordinator, at herpoutreach@davidson.edu with any questions.
Presented by the Davidson College Herpetology Laboratory,
in coordination with the Central Carolina Amphibian and Reptile Initiative,
