Voice: A single "chock" or double "chock-chock" repeated every 8-60 seconds. Habitat: Mainly lowland moist and wet forest and into premontane wet forest and rainforest. Biology: Nocturnal; active during wet season; breeding peaks in June and occassionally October; egg clutches laid either upper or lower surface of leaves overhanging water.
