Voice: Single prolonged nasal "whaaa".

Habitat: Lowland moist and wet forests.

Biology: Secretive forest floor species present in high numbers (density of 145/ha); nocturnal; diet mostly of ants; coloration resembles a leaf and its shadow; explosive breeder at onset of rainy season.
