Note: Seldom seen but often heard moving in leaf litter.

Habitat: Lowland moist and wet forests, premontane wet forest and rainforest.

Density: Up to 88/ha in forests and 548/ha in abandoned plantations.

Food: Mainly small spiders, isopods, and mites.
