Field Trip to Jean LaFitte National Park

On the last day of the meeting, we went on a field trip to Jean LaFitte National Park south of New Orleans. We were fortunate enough to have Whit Gibbons, Joe Pechmann, and one of Joe's students join us. We saw many species including many alligators, cottonmouths, water snakes, and even an alligator snapping turtle.
