Sarah Bowers
Biology Major, Environmental Studies Concentrator
Class of 2014
I am currently a junior biology major. I became involved in the lab in the fall of 2012. Currently, I am working on a manuscript to conclude research conducted on diamondback terrapins. For the paper, Elizabeth Underwood and I are examining the effects of sexual dimorphism in bite force (measured by head morphology and handling times) on terrapins' feeding ecology. This paper is the culmination of the class I participated in with Dr. Dorcas, Herpetological Investigation of the Southeast.
