Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep

(Ovis Canadensis Canadensis)

Home

Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep are truly spectacular mammals. In addition to the impressive horns of males, these large mammals can use ledges as narrow as two inches as footholds, leap over twenty feet, run thirty miles per hour, and swim with great skill.
