The long-tailed tit (Aegithalos caudatus) is a social bird that can be found in deciduous forests spanning from Western Europe to Asia (Harrap & Quinn, 1996). Named for their exceptionally long tails, adults of both genders range in size from 13-16 cm and have mixtures of black, white, and pink plumage (Grzimek, 2003).
