Advances in science depend on communication across disciplines and across institutional boundaries. To bring this enriching exchange of ideas to campus, Davidson College will establish a HHMI Distinguished Scientists Seminar Series. The series will focus on recent advances in the biomedical sciences. We will invite a nationally recognized leader from one of the following interdisciplinary fields: neuroscience, genomics, immunology or bioethics. Speakers will spend at least two days on campus and will give a general interest talk on one evening, followed by a technical talk for the scientific community on the second evening.
