Field Research

Many of our students get the opportuntity to participate in novel, research projects and co-author publications before proceeding to graduate school. Davidson College offers state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, a world renouned Neuroscience program, and fantastic opportunities for students to get involved in the scientific community.

 

Our program goal is to integrate teaching and research in the classroom, providing our students with a comprehensive learning experience. Most of our undergraduate students, majoring in Biology, Psychology, or concentrating in Neuroscience, leave Davidson College with some animal research experience.We believe hands-on training is invaluable and provides and environment that encourages mental sharpness, self-motivation, problem solving skills, and a professional attitude...qualities essential to future scientists.
